The foundation beam can be made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete using removable formwork with prefabricated reinforcement cage, or of precast units (reinforced concrete beam or block). The pedestal base made of bricks, foam concrete blocks or other similar materials is erected atop the foundation beam. If needed, pedestal bases are lagged with rock wool (polyurethane foam or foam polystyrene) plates. Facing your building with ceramic granite blocks, artificial stone or other finishing materials will emphasize its singularity and unique style.
